“Mirrors, Eastern Voices World Music”, highlights different shades of emotions, which a woman experiences in her lifetime from longing, love, joy, pain to celebration, with each song portraying a different dimension of her personality. 


The album features renowned female singers, and among the vocalists, Madhu Mathur Anand is a versatile performer with an extensive repertoire in North Indian traditional, and popular vocal music. She has toured extensively in North America and performed with singers like Anup Jalota.   She hails from the family of Girija Kumar Mathur, the poet who wrote the famous patriotic song ‘Hum Honge Kamayab’.  Rita Sahai is an acclaimed composer and performer, and tours extensively throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and India. She also lends her voice to diverse musical projects including laying down vocal tracks for Grammy Award winning blue grass artist Bella Fleck and performing on Alonzo Kings Sacred Texts, a CD that won the Isadora Duncan award for music excellence. Renoo Nathan is a well known classical singer and has great albums to her credit.  Shubhra Prakash is an upcoming artist with a versatile range.  The album has amazing guitars by Chandra.
